Happy belated Holidays from Hooked on Panama Lodge.

A little of the action from Christmas and New Years week.

We had two groups with us this week.  Group one was Wes and Kyra Hudson and their friends. James and Melinda Dunks, Jeff and Bev Johnson and Chad and Erika Kinney.  Wes is the son of our partners down here, Rex and Connie Hudson and he is also the owner of Shallow Sport Boats, in south Texas. They fished with Captain Oliver and his mate Carlos and Captain Chaka with his mate the other Carlos.

It was a great holiday to say the least.  Total count.  5 black marlin. One going around 600lbs.  5 sails, 2 cubera snappers, 3 roosters and lost count on the dorados.  As you can tell from the photos, the weather as beautiful.  Obviously no arctic blast for us in Panama:)  Now, they might have been able to get a few more, but, they did go through 25, yes I said 25, cases of Miller Light:):)  Check out the beer tree in the last photo:)

This is Wes and Kyra’s 3rd or 4th trip with us.  Losing count.  They are a whole lot of fun and it is like having a group of family down.  Wait a second, Wes and Kyra are family:) I think they are planning to bring a bigger group next year and use the whole fleet.  Might even pull of a lodge tournament.

Got another report after this and have a full lodge right now, so, more to come.
