Smoked Salmon for All!

We had Larry Searles, Richard Little, Mervin Ward and Jim Jensen down with us for 3 days of fishing. They were fishing with Captain Chaka and Mate Carlos.

Day One: They released 4 sails and had a marlin on for a short time but it wasn’t meant to be caught that day. Ended the day by bringing in a nice dorado for dinner.

Day Two: The group had a mixed bag of offshore and inshore fishing. They released 2 sails; another nice dorado brought in and moved inshore to release a few roosters and 1 cubera snapper.

Day Three: Six sails raised with another marlin, releasing one sail with many dorado bites. Inshore they released 2 roosters, 1 cubera snapper with a lot of hard bites on the live bait.

The weather was perfect all 3 days and Mervin brought with him the best smoked salmon for everyone to enjoy every afternoon!

Saludos de Hooked on Panama Lodge. We had the Fancher family here; Brad and Tammy with their triplets Austin, Brandon and Cameron along with their daughter Corey and her husband Jonathan. They arrived on the 31st of May, relaxed and enjoying the lodge on the 1st of June then fished for 3 days.

It’s been a long year for everyone and we hope all our friends are doing well and staying healthy! Finally back to some fishing here at Hooked on Panama Lodge. We just had Craig Waltzer and his gang Dave, Jose, Luigi and Hew here from Florida fishing for two days. Craig fished with us last March right before the Covid lockdown.

We had Sigler Commercial HVAC Solutions, Don and Taylor Reeves and Jorge Felix as hosts here with 9 of their guest at Hooked on Panama Lodge fishing for two days, March 20th and 21st. They had all three boats out with 4 angles per boat and held a two day tournament. Nothing like a little competition to fire everyone up even more!

First off, sorry for the delay on this one. We have been crazy busy during the holidays and I finally got a chance to sit down and do this. 🙂 We had Dick and Meera Rosser here fishing with Captain Victor and our new mate, Lucho. They were on a hit and run mission, just two days out with us.
