Tuna Slamming and Rooster Popping

Here is an earlier report that I was waiting on photo’s which took a long time for me to get. Not sure where in cyber space these photo’s have traveled but it took awhile for me to receive them!
The fishing continues to be great. Last week we had Greg Lien, who bought the trip at the Minnesota chapter of Safari Club and brought his friends, John, Brian and Jereme. They were fishing with Captain Carlos and his mate Eloy. It’s still a Dorado fest. Got 30 plus and once again nice size fish.
Dean, Dawn, Megan and Caitlyn Sanders along with Jordan Rowe from California fished for 3 days over Christmas. It was really nice having them here, made us feel like we were spending Christmas with our families that are in Maui and Texas.
Out on a trail run on La Chirichana just 1 1/2 hours out landed 1 sail – 1 dorado – 2 more dorados got away. 1 more sail and a few dordaro on the way in.
Another great report with pics from Hooked on Panama Lodge. March 7th-14th, 2014.
The day started off slow, but ended with a bang. 6 Yellow Fin Tuna with the smallest around 100LBS. and the biggest topped out at around 200LBS.
