Panama Fishing January 17, 2020
Well, what can I say. It has been an epic week here at Hooked on Panama Lodge.
David Nelson brought down a great group of guys. 15 of them total. A little doctors conference with fishing thrown in 🙂 4 days the entire fleet.
We caught just about everything. Multiple Marlin, big Sail numbers, a few Roosters, a few Dorados and a butt load of very large Yellow Fin Tuna. Big ones from 100lbs. to 200 plus. Don’t even have a count. Need less to say, we have been eating a lot of fresh tuna. Connie, Rex and I are a little tired of cleaning and eating tuna right now 🙂 🙂
Marlin Numbers were awesome with lots of missed ones. Sail Fish numbers were also way up there, with many more missed ones. We even got a striper, the 2nd one since we opened in 2008.
This was one fun week. Good company and great fishing. Can’t wait to have all these guys back. Like I like to say a lot, It Doesn’t Suck:)
Got a new group arriving Sunday and hoping the bite continues like it is now. I have only been here for 2 weeks, and I have to say, this has been one of the best season beginnings ever.
