Fishing Report for March 15th

The last few days at, Hooked on Panama Lodge.
We just had Chipper and Marieta Johnson from Minnesota fishing with us.  They were with Captain Victor and his mate, Jacinto. They said Victor and Jacinto were a great team.
Chipper got his first sail fish and Marieta got her first rooster.  They had sails, roosters, snappers, jacks and quite a few yellow fin tuna. Chipper said they lost several really nice roosters, also. The seared tuna is still the hit at the dinner table, and, the last supper, whole fried snapper, is still one of Margot’s specialties.  Chipper liked it so much, there was nothing left but bones:)
We had a great time and these guys were a kick in the pants at dinner time.  People from MInnesota are pretty funny. We just love it when our guest comment about not being able to wait for their return.
The water temps continue to cool off.  The reports are that the big yellow fin tuna, and the dorados, are about 90 miles away and coming this way.  It looks like the dorados are just late this year.  We’ll see soon.
Hope to see everyone soon for another great expedition to, Hooked on Panama Lodge.
