Fishing Report for January 28th
Another report from Hooked on Panama Lodge. We had a cold snap down here. You can tell from the iceberg photo below:):):) OK, so we had Bill Martin and his grandson Billy Jr. from Virginia. They were fishing with Captain Oliver and his mate Carlito ( means little Carlos ).
This is their week. Raised 5 marlin, hooked 3 and lost them all. Raised 10 sails, released 2 and lost 6. Ouch!!!! 3 roosters released and one monster broke off at the boat. 4 dorados and lost twice that much. Plus, one of the biggest Blue Runners I have seen.
Now, we have the best tackle, line and hooks. But the fish are still kicking our ass:):) No lack of action, just lack of releases and dinners:)
Bill Sr. is bring more grandkids next year. He says Hooked on Panama ROCKS!!!!!!!
