Fishing Report for January 26th

We have Jon Buckner here with his wife Regan and two boys, Josh and Brady. The boys were helping each other out and they say these roosters are the biggest fish they have landed to date.
The Marlin bite was a bit slow a good amount was raised but not many releases. The Dorado and Yellow Fin Tuna made up for it and on the inshore so did the Roosters. The Meyers knocked out their Rooster Bucket list with six releases.
The day started off slow, but ended with a bang. 6 Yellow Fin Tuna with the smallest around 100LBS. and the biggest topped out at around 200LBS.
For the 4th of July, we threw a big BBQ in the rancho next to the beach, had a fantastic fireworks show and a great time was had by all. Only in Panama can you have a fireworks show like that right in the front yard:)
We had one boat out on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. They were fishing near by the Island of Ladrones with no other boat in sight. There were lots of birds, dolphins and bait working the area which is always a spectacular sight.
First, Mark Polewski brought down the whole Canadian gang, Ron, Len, Archie, Andy, Tom, Dan and Ted. This was Marks second trip down here with us, but it was 5 years ago. Hope they don’t wait that long to return 🙂 Then we had Ray Rogers and Family. These folks are from West Virginia and I believe our first guests from there.
