Returning once again for their 7th year Kirk, Greg and Fred from Louisiana our Raging Cajuns! It’s always a good time when they return!
We had Eric & Suzzie with Fishing with Larry here hosting a group of 8 anglers. They fished for 4 days with Capitan Chaka, Oliver and Victor and Mates Carlos, Carlito and Jacinto. In 4 days they released 10 sailfish, 4 marlin, 6 rooster, 1 pargo and landed 13 dorados!
We have Gary and Sheryl Meyer. Their son Perry and his wife Kelly. And of course, Bad Betty Rawalt:):) This is Gary, Sheryl and Bad Betty’s third trip here together. This was Perry and Kelly’s first.
Fishing has been good. The tuna bite is still on fire. On the 17th and 18th, we were part of the Great Panama Fishing Challenge. A country wide tournament put on by the Panama Marine Resource Foundation. Several of the lodge’s here were involved.
It’s been a long year for everyone and we hope all our friends are doing well and staying healthy! Finally back to some fishing here at Hooked on Panama Lodge. We just had Craig Waltzer and his gang Dave, Jose, Luigi and Hew here from Florida fishing for two days. Craig fished with us last March right before the Covid lockdown.
Well, we had kind of a crazy week here at Hooked on Panama. Three boats fishing, overlapping groups, bite was good, then completely stopped for a day then right back up again.
