Hola Everyone,
Mike here from Hooked On Panama. Hope most of you are thawing out from winter!Carlos Villarreal and Jason Smith was here for three days of fishing from Californiafocused mostly on inshore fishing. We were also deling with a full moon.They had a great variety of Snapper, Grouper, Roosters, Jacks and released a couple of huge Pargo’s.The Blue Jacks made for some excellent Cevichi.Looking forward to seeing these guys again next spring.
The day started off slow, but ended with a bang. 6 Yellow Fin Tuna with the smallest around 100LBS. and the biggest topped out at around 200LBS.
Got another report from last week. Sorry it has taken a bit of time, but have been waiting on photos. I miss the days of people using cameras instead of phones for all their photos. 🙂 🙂 Everyone here last week was pretty much repeats with only a handful of newbies mixed in.
Had a great week at Hooked on Panama Lodge ending Feb. 23rd. Overlapping groups again, some newbies and some long time repeats. First for the newbies. Â Pancho and Diane Hecht were fishing with Captain Chaka and his mate Carlito.
Had a group of four guys fishing two boats. Jim Forzley and Bryan Enseleit, fishing with Captain Chaka and his mate Carlos. Plus, Randy Wood and Wilson Spencer, fishing with Captain Victor and his mate Jacinto. Three days fishing produced some great numbers.
I’m back with a fishing report week ending April 17th. We had Fishing with Larry for the 2nd time this season here with us. Eric and Susanne Shoenborn as hosts along with 6 anglers Sal, Toney and Randi, Gordon, Jack and Wolfgang.
Another great week at Hooked on Panama Lodge. Brad Staples from Fishing with Larry had his group here this week, Wolfgang, Clint, Chris and Stu. Plus we had Ken and Lisa Freeman and family. Fishing was a good mixed bag week
